I spent 30 years managing billions on Wall Street — at Carlyle, OppenheimerFunds, and Morgan Stanley — honing my expertise in private equity, hedge funds and global wealth management, and earning multiple investment performance awards, including recognition from Forbes and InvestHedge.
Today, I apply my investment management expertise to drive broader impact. I lead a lithium mining investment initiative in Somaliland that advances to U.S.-Taiwan strategic alignment while creating jobs and infrastructure in Somaliland. I am structuring ESG investment products, and teaching the next generation of asset managers as Chair Professor and Vice Dean at National Sun Yat-sen University. I also founded ZiVA Wealth, a financial education platform for women, serve on the Columbia University Board of Visitors, and advise governments on using investment as a tool of diplomacy.
